A Move for the Books

If you've been following me on Instagram lately then you've probably noticed that I've been posting a lot about Asheville, NC. Well, that's because I'VE MOVED! It's been quite a whirlwind of a year (and a half) for me: I graduated from college (in Spartanburg, SC) in May 2013, moved to Charleston, SC in June 2013, moved to New York City in September 2013, moved back to my hometown of Columbus, GA in May 2014, then now a move to Asheville, NC in August 2014. Phew, I barely ever got pictures on the walls before I was packing them back up again! But this time, I think I'll stay for a while. Asheville holds all the comforts of the South but with the buzz and excitement of New York City: so far, a perfect combination.

Of course, the traveler in me won't let me stay for too long. That is, while I'll call Asheville my home, I'll still be on the road meeting new people and spreading a little beauty through my jewelry as much as I possibly can. I would get much too restless otherwise. Nothing makes me more excited than seeing a calendar full of new opportunities and places to see. After all, inspiration is everywhere, and it's my goal to find it!

I stumbled upon this AMAZING "cave of branches" a few weeks ago on a hike, and I haven't stopped dreaming about it! Tangled Branches Necklace, anyone?

Alright so now, I'm calling on anyone and everyone who has ever traveled to the city of Asheville, the state of North Carolina, or the surrounding areas. What are your favorite ever things to do, places to see, foods to eat, beers to drink, ANYTHING!? It's Labor Day Weekend, after all, and I'm itching for a new adventure. Let me know all your favorites in the comments below, and I'll be sure to report back! (Or you might even see an instagram post about it ;)
